STREET STYLE EAST AFRICA

Salaam Aleikum my loves.

How was Eid like?  Personaly, I had fun. I had a cook in with three of my fabolous friends. What did you guys do? I would love to know.

Being an East African and  also having the privilege of being a resident of both Tanzania and Kenya, I had this fabulous idea of  taking pictures of beautiful people I meet in East Africa to add some optical nutrition to my blog for your viewing :)
And for my very first street style post. I feature Eli who is representing Kenya.

Doesn't he look good?

What I loved the most where his accessories: The ethiopian silver neck piece, Silver rings made from spoons (Can you believe that?)  and also his black murse.

A tip for all the men out there: Stop carrying those old dirty back pack and go for an urban chic murse. The ladies will come flocking :)
Tell me what you think and Eid Mubarak to you all.

Show some shoulder.

Mambo warembo.

I know it's been a minute but it's all for a good cause which I will blog about sometime this week :)
Nairobi has been cold lately but a few days ago the sun decided to stop by, albeit for a short visit. Is it just me or has global warming  been taking us for a ride lately? Playing al this practical jokes on us :(

I took this pictures on a day that I thought will transit us to more sunny days, but boy, was I wrong?

Well, I am not a weatherman but I am quite the fashionista. And on that day I though since I have  been covered up for long  why don't I go a little bare?

And so I opted for black harem pants and a white off-the-shoulder t'shirt to show off my tanned shoulders. Off-shoulders are a stylish way of showing some skin, and not going for a cleavage.

I didn't polish this look  much. I accessorized with statement a long silver necklace, maasai bangles, green and blue XL buttons and a  black clutch to go.
So tell me what you think honey and oh, global warming, please bring back septembers sun. Just make it a lil bit softer for our skins sake :)

The guy on the right was my photographer and will feature on my tomorrows post.
Fabulous times honeys,
Malaika
